Pilot Terms

These terms govern your organisation’s 14-day free BuildScan AI pilot and its use of construction delay documentation tools.

1. Pilot period

The pilot runs for exactly 14 days from account activation. No payment card is required and the pilot does not automatically convert to a paid plan. Continued use after the pilot requires selection of an available paid plan.

2. Permitted use

The service may be used by authorised construction professionals to capture site records, monitor milestones, review delays, prepare reports and coordinate verified sign-offs for legitimate business purposes.

3. Project and account limits

The pilot includes one active project. Features may be limited by plan, role or the amount of available evidence. Delay prediction requires at least 14 days of scan history and is assessed separately from pilot expiration.

4. Evidence and professional judgement

BuildScan AI helps structure photographs, notes, weather, milestones and signatures for EOT, LAD and BCAR documentation. It does not provide legal, engineering, surveying or contractual advice.

Users must independently verify reports, dates, measurements, planning references and conclusions before relying on or sharing them.

5. User responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, maintain account security, use live site capture lawfully, obtain any required permissions and notices, and ensure that invited users are authorised to access each project. You must not manipulate evidence, impersonate a signatory or use the service unlawfully.

6. Electronic signatures

Drawn and typed signatures are recorded with signatory details and timestamps. Users must sign only in their own name and authority. Confirmed pilot agreements and report sign-offs are locked to preserve the audit trail.

7. Data protection and security

Personal and project information is handled under our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR requirements. Customer organisations are responsible for determining lawful site capture and access. BuildScan AI applies role controls and reasonable security safeguards.

8. Availability and changes

The pilot is supplied for evaluation. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every automated analysis will be complete or error-free. We may make proportionate changes needed for security, compliance or service operation.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BuildScan AI is not liable for decisions made solely from automated analysis, indirect losses, missed contractual notices or inaccurate information supplied by users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Ending the pilot

You may stop using the pilot at any time. We may suspend access for security risks, unlawful use, material breach or threats to evidence integrity. Account deletion follows the stated 30-day recovery process, subject to lawful retention of signed or dispute-related records.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
